Triumph Bonneville

Triumph Bonneville T120 - This was a good runner when I first had it. However, it developed a short when a live wire contacted the frame under the fuel tank where the loom insulation had worn. There was a bit of electrical smoke for a while until I disconnected the battery. The bike has not run since. The bike was MOT'd at the time. The loom will need replacing and the whole electrical system checking prior to recommissioning. The engine and gearbox were very good prior to the short as were the brakes, wheels and tyres. So its sold as non runner, which was OK prior to the short and is complete. Since then it has been dry stored, moved on a fairly regular basis and the engine turned. The clutch, brakes and gearbox seem to be OK. It will need some restoration work to return it to good condition, but would be an excellent project for an enthusiast to get a classic bike sorted before the summer season starts.. Price 4,300 EUR.

The frame number is T120DU39882 which is a 1966 number. The V5 states it was first registered 1/4/82 but also states ''declared manufactured 1966''. The registration mark, RTU 45D is transferable. With an engine number of TR6DU66172, I never was sure of the bikes true history and have not tried to find out.. Price 3,350 EUR.

Triumph Bonneville T120R - 1967 Triumph Bonneville T120R. Matching frame and engine numbers. Carbs where changed to Mikuni and the Lucas electrical systems was replaced. Why? because they worked!, I wanted to drive it and have it be dependable...yes it's orginal once, but as time went on, the later years had the carbs and electrical systems replaced because of breakdowns..no issues with this bike...This bike runs excellent...and is as nice as it looks! New paintwork on tank to the orginal color! Inside of the fuel tank is as clean, no scale of any kind. All original decals are in place as it was designed..All the hardware is original.. I bought the bike 2 years ago from a Triumph dealer here in Northern Ireland bike resides in Belfast close to the ports .I rebuilt the carbs fitted new cables/plugs/beston grips/seat/ drive chain striped /fitted a completely new clutch receipts to verify oil pump upgrade to later T140 type all oil seals replaced on the timing side/ serviced with all new filters air and oil etc. The pancake filters have custom stainless backs upgraded the front brake with a 69' TLS the original SLS is included- also comes with an added oil pressure gauge Boyer Electronic ignition with powerbox starts 1st or 2nd kick when cold and warm.Included is the leather custom tool roll. , Road Registered Daytime MOT Free TAX V5 Present bike was originally aubergine.
